Baked Tortilla Chips

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!

This is not really a recipe but just a simple method. Baking your own tortilla chips is really easy, and allows you to control the salt content as well. Also, you can add any other seasoning you prefer.

A Simple List of Ingredients:

1. Tortilla Wraps

2. Vegetable Oil
3. Salt

Bismillah, let's start!

Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 6.

Take the tortilla wraps of your choice.

Brush both sides of the tortilla wrap with vegetable oil.

Cut into triangles with a knife, and lay on a single layer on a baking tray.

Sprinkle on a little salt. You could also sprinkle on chilli powder, ground cumin or any other seasoning. Be creative and make these your own!

Bake in the preheated oven at Gas Mark 6 for 8 minutes.
These are great warm with a dip or salsa, and can be stored in  an airtight container.
